Bob is a commercial and tax lawyer. He has a Masters Degree in Law from the University of Sydney, majoring in taxation and revenue law. Bob is also a qualified Chartered Accountant.

He practises mainly in the areas of business and commercial law, taxation law, property law and estate planning.

Prior to establishing Medcalf Grant, Bob had a diverse legal and commercial career ranging from working at KPMG in the early 1990s where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant, to spending two years in Forbes, New South Wales, working for a local Chartered Accounting firm, to later spending two years with a merchant bank in London.

Living locally, he enjoys being part of the Manly community. Bob plays the bagpipes for the Manly Warringah Pipe Band. He is also a keen golfer, being a member at the local golf club.
